Diamonds Are Stupid
Yeah, so there is this big billboard near the innerbelt that has an advertisment from the Diamond Cartel. It sez, "Apologies to the Sun, but she's at the center of your universe."
This is dumb on many levels.
First, I hate to bum out all the pointy heads at DeBeers, but the sun is not the center of the universe. (hint: the Earth isn't either)
Second, the sun is an inanimate object. It doesn't care whether some stupid john bought his hag a diamond.
Third, diamonds suck.
